The future of football in England

For All Logo“We’ve got to give every 5 to 11 year old in England the opportunity to play and enjoy the game. And if they want to get better, we need to show them how.”

-       Sir Trevor Brooking, Former England International & FA Director of Football Development and founder of The FA Lidl Skills Programme

The FA aims to give all 5-11 year old children in England the opportunity to enjoy football and to become the best football players they can be through The FA Lidl Skills programme.

As well as developing the players of the future, The FA Lidl Skills also attracts and develops the best specialist youth football coaches in the country. Every FA Lidl Skills football coach is chosen for their technical expertise and their ability to engage with children. They also complete The FA Youth Award to ensure they are specialists at age appropriate football coaching.

The players and the coaches coming through The FA Lidl Skills programme will help shape the future of football in England. To find out more about The FA’s £1million a week investment into grassroots football, visit TheFA.com/GetIntoFootball
